Cultural Center Historic District (Midtown)

Darnell Adams

Growing up in Detroit, I’ve always been drawn to neighborhoods with a strong sense of identity and community. The Cultural Center Historic District feels like the best of Detroit in one place: history, architecture, arts, education, food, and culture. I can walk to institutions that have shaped generations of Detroiters while still being connected to neighborhoods across the city I’ve called home my entire life.
