Founded SHE DZNS to celebrate Black women in design and introduce youth to architecture.

Before I knew what architecture was, I knew what my neighborhood meant to me. Gratiot and 7 Mile raised me and now that I’m in rooms where people talk about Detroit’s future, I carry that with me. The people who call a neighborhood home should have a say in what happens to it. I want kids who grew up like me to grow up knowing they can be the ones making those decisions.
