Originally from Hawai’i, Alicia moved to Detroit as part of the 2010 Teach For America cohort. Enjoys bringing Bagley neighbors together through backyard crawls and monthly meetups at neighborhood restaurants and bars. Collaborates with City of Detroit officials for neighborhood infrastructural needs such as speed cushions, sidewalk repairs, and Light Up The Block.
Founding Board Member and current President of the Bagley Neighborhood Association.
Earned a B.A. from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME majoring in Economics & Government.
Second person in the City of Detroit to get their Animal Husbandry license for chicken keeping!
